According to research, 70% of the 400 respondents were potentially interested in investment, but all the appropriate services available at the time required a lot of study into how the market works, and the respondents weren’t ready to spend weeks of their time on theory.
63% of respondents also indicated it was important for them to see the sum total of their assets.
To develop a recommendation system for investment products that would allow a user to start investing right away, without ever needing to study theory.
Additionally, to provide an opportunity for users to monitor total assets and their details.
After a series of UX tests, the last version was successful, as 8 out of 8 respondents built their investment portfolios on their own in less than an hour, and it took them less than two minutes to figure out where to track the status of their assets.
At the time, banks would have every card correspond to its own account. If a client were to lose a card, their accounts and the funds they containe wouldn’t have been available to them until the bank would issue a replacement physical card and the user would visit one of the bank’s branches to get it. Losing a card while traveling would make this problem all the more challenging.
Additionally, it was inconvenient for users to have to order different cards for different currencies and pay maintenance fees for each of them.
To build an interface for assigning several cards to a single account, reassigning them between accounts, and changing cards’ currencies.
During the UX research, users would successfully pass their tests and note this was a very useful feature in case their cards get lost.
Users would lose interest in investing because they couldn’t see their total income, its increase over time and how it affected their asset growth.
To add a feature displaying the product income, both total and diversified by type, and to show users the dynamics of their asset growths.
8 out of 8 respondents successfully passed their tests, and also noted they would choose to use the app because of the total income feature and the chart for general asset dynamics.
Users expressed desire to know the status of their products, how much they’d already gained, when they were going to get their interest, dividends, or the totality of their funds.
To come up with a versatile design based on users’ demands for bank and investment products.
Based on a series of UX tests with the target audience for each type of product, 8 out of 8 users said the latest version contained all the necessary information on the products’ pages and was displayed in a convenient way.
Users needed an opportunity not only to track their products’ status but also to manage them, and, additionally, to carry out basic bank operations.
